Bio
Three thousand miles is hardly daunting to Laurie Landry, an alumnus of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and native of The Paper City, the home of volleyball (that'd be Holyoke, MA to anyone not willing to look it up on Wikipedia). Armed with a passion for acting and a dedication to the director's vision, Laurie has appeared in independent films like "Cathedral Pines" and Hollywood productions like "Finding Forrester" while mastering comedy/improv with New England's premier murder mystery troupe, The Comical Mystery Tour.
Appearing in a wide range of productions for award-winning groups such as Artistic Dance Conservatory, Lady of the Lake Productions, and the NoHo Players, Laurie has been consistently praised for her performances. A soul unable to leave the Earth behind in "Cathedral Pines"; the bubbly - and deadly - seductress of "The Killer Script"; and a determined-to-hold-it-all-together bridesmaid-turned-zombie in "That Special Day." With upcoming roles in major motion pictures and work on a music-related web series about to drop, Laurie Landry has transitioned from stage to screen with astonishing success, fervor, and talent.
But why stop there? Laurie's become increasingly involved in social media networking, bringing her love of all things film- and celebrity-related - as well as dead-pan humor - to her family, friends, and fans.
